Virtual styling

I put together complete head to toe looks that work for your body and your budget without you ever having to set foot in a store. Everything I do in person translates, and for a lot of people it translates better, because we are not limited by which shops happen to be near you and you are not trying on clothes in front of a stranger on day one.

Half my clients are not in Minnesota at all.

How a virtual session runs

We start on a video call. You show me your closet, or a portion of it, and we talk about your body, your life, your budget and the specific thing that made you finally reach out. Almost everyone has a specific thing.

From there it depends what you need. We can do a full closet edit over video, going rail by rail with you holding things up while I make the calls. Or I go away and build you a shopping plan, with links, sizes and reasons, so you can order what you want at your own pace.

Then we look at what arrived, together, and I show you how to wear it. That last step is the one people skip on their own, and it is the difference between owning good pieces and actually getting dressed well.

What you get

Outfits photographed and written down so you are not relying on memory. Direct links to everything, in your size, at your price. Honest answers about what is not working, which is difficult to get from friends and impossible to get from an algorithm.

You also get someone who is not trying to sell you anything. I do not work for a brand and I do not earn more when you spend more.

Time zones and travel

Anywhere in the world is not a figure of speech. I work with clients across the United States and abroad, and we find a time that works. If you are moving somewhere with a different climate, or packing for a trip, or dressing for a job in a city I have never lived in, that is a normal request rather than a complication.

Common questions

Is virtual really as good as in person?

For closet edits and shopping, honestly yes. The only thing you lose is me physically holding the hanger. What you gain is flexibility, and a record of everything we decided.

What do I need for the call?

A phone or laptop, decent light, and your closet within reach. That is it.

Do you work outside the United States?

Yes. Time zones are the only real constraint, and they are usually solvable.
